The purpose of this blog is to share with you ways that I am teaching my two young kids about Jesus through play and through normal day activities.
Manna comes from God. As my boys are young I try my best to pick up the manna and give it to them. As they grow older it is my prayer that they gather and live off of the manna for themselves. (see a more detailed account of the purpose of the blog and the thinking behind it in my About section).
Each post will have:
A story about what I've done with my kids
A "Manna" section that will detail things you can specifically do to spiritually feed your family
More detail about the meaning behind what I did with my kids (the part I'm not specifically explaining to my kids)
I, by no means, have all the answers. Every situation, heart, and kid is different. But I do know that God sees all and loves all deeply. I know the Holy Spirit will come alongside those who earnestly seek Him.
Please share ideas that you have for spiritually feeding your own family. I would love to be inspired by you!
Now, let's meet the kids! On the blog they will be called M and J.
M is 3. He is very observant, has a compassionate heart, and loves being silly.
J is an almost 1 year old. He loves going on walks and joining in on any family fun that's going on.
